Morton Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Council
The Morton Chamber of Commerce, 415 W. Jefferson St., and the Morton Economic Development Council (EDC) work together to provide a healthy environment for businesses and the overall community to thrive.

Founded in 1955, the Morton Chamber of Commerce is a member-based organization dedicated to strengthening business and enhancing the community through business promotion, connections to valuable resources, and opportunities for community development. The Morton Chamber offers monthly Business After Hours, leadership seminars, educational and networking events, advocacy efforts, shop local initiatives, and is the host organization for the annual Morton Pumpkin Festival.

The Morton EDC, established in 2008, is a public/private entity working to enhance the quality of life for Morton citizens by promoting and supporting existing businesses and attracting new businesses to the community. The Morton EDC supports business growth through cultivating resources, building the entrepreneurial network, developing workforce pipelines, and providing financial assistance.
